The Maude Kerns Art presents the 22nd annual “Art for All Seasons Membership Exhibit” and “Club Mud Ceramics Show & Sale,” opening on Friday, November 21, and on display through December 19. The Art Center is pleased to announce that the Title Sponsor for this exhibit for the eighth consecutive year is Oregon Family Dental, PC. Maude Kerns Art Center’s “Art for All Seasons” offers a perfect opportunity to purchase original paintings, drawings, prints, photography, sculpture, and ceramics for the holiday season!
The public is invited to the Opening Reception on Friday, November 21, from 6 – 8 pm. Many of the exhibiting artists will be present at the reception. Refreshments and Territorial Vineyard wine will be served.
“Art for All Seasons” features work in a variety of mediums by over seventy-five of the Center’s artist members. In the Salon Gallery are functional, decorative, and sculptural pieces created by 20 members of the Center’s onsite ceramics studio, Club Mud. All work is handmade and one-of-a-kind. Among the many artists exhibiting are Barbara Counsil, Art Center painting and drawing instructor, who shows a whimsical painting titled “Book Moose”; Frank Gosar, ceramic artist and longtime Club Mud member who displays a selection of stoneware pieces decorated with hand-painted animal images; and Melissa Sikes, exhibiting two works from a recent series, “The Back Dock,” which depict family and friends at a favorite swimming spot.
The “Art for All Seasons Membership Exhibit and Club Mud Show & Sale” is on display at the Art Center through Friday, December 19.
